This post related to the previous one.
Mid-day at Paotere old port in Makassar was not bustling with activity as I expected it would be. However dozen of ships were moored at the jetty. Known as one of the most significant trading port cities in Indonesia, the ships carried goods from other islands to be transported to other eastern part of this archipelago.
Pictures here are porters unloading seaweed from a ship which arrived early that morning from Flores.
